Dear Cuz, my favorite is singing along to Jeff Buckley's version. I've found that singing improves my physical and mental health and apparently there is scientific evidence for this! Let's all sing and dance as much as possible! And Hallelujah for your beautiful and hopeful writing!
Yes, I believe singing does tap into the voice of spirit, the voice of the mystery and we really do feel it. I wish I was a better singer. But never mind, these acts of beauty and celebration--song, dance--DO make a difference. They are our antidote to despair. Remember, joy is a warrior emotion. Sending big love.
You were preaching to the choir with this one, but then I'm well into my last third in this plane of existence. I think Bon Jovi's is my favorite version.
Oh, what a joy and relief for you to get that delicious and ripe spring snow! It must have been an East Slope storm, because here on the West Slope we got some wind and some rain, but only about a quarter of an inch. Still, a little moisture is better than none. May you and the bears and Greg and Yuki and the moss and mudlicious soil flourish in Earth's gifts!
"Mudlucious" is the word that made me love E E Cummings too many years ago to count. Love your "nature walks."
Karen, me too. What a word. Thank you for coming along. Big love.

I wish I was a better singer too! I used to think I was the worst singer, but with a little practice, I've found my voice and have grown to love it.
Try trust the turnings...

Susan, what a joy indeed. Everything dripping. Sending big love and prayers for rain over the mountain.
